Brief Project Description

The objectives for this project were to:

1. To redevelop an underused dilapidated churchyard located in a conservation area and bordered by densely built-up housing estates, and transform it into a garden for reflection and quiet enjoyment by local residents.
2. To enhance the resources available to organisations already working in the church building, i.e. a playgroup, youth groups, disabled club and mental health drop-in centre, as well as to enhance the new uses, such as a Saturday cafe, that are being planned.
