Brief Project Description

Following the first phase of works further needs were highlighted : to support dissemination of historical information and educational activities through the creation of:

  • an information and vandal-proof interpretation panel for the Mercer's burial ground which promotes a sense of local pride through historical interpretation
  • an education pack with a range of interactive resources for use by Tower hamlets Key Stage 2 pupils. this will support existing "adult" history trail booklet by local historian Tom Ridge.
