Location Care and Repair in the Garden (individual gardens in the Seven Sisters/brdige NDC area Haringey) Brief Project Description This project is to assist residents in purchasing flowers, shrubs and gardening supplies with the intention of permanently improving the overall environment. The project is to provide 26 clients with between £50 and £150 each (depending on the size of garden). Amount of funding £4,000 Start- Completion dates Oct 2002 - March 2003 Illustration of what was achieved These comments were made by the owners of the gardens. "Being elderly and disabled I now have light in my living room which was shadowed by the overgrown hedge. I could not have done it myself being the age of 92 years" "Very knowledgeable and STRONG –such a relief to meet people who can take the weight off our shoulders – you really are very efficient and kind in your approach" "The project is very good and does a lot to improve the environment.
