Brief Project Description
The purpose of this project was to encouyrage and empower local residents to lead on projects. The range of projects has been designed by locl people for local people. The target population is the population of Waltham Forest. The project funded a range of projects including the design and installation of a play equipment on a housing estate, further development of a tree nursery, project working with children and the community in schools to improve their environment and increase understanding of environmental matters and a local food growing project distributing affordable produce with concessionary rates for low income households and to the communities of Waltham Forest.
