Brief Project Description

The Equal Play Centre in Hackney was closed down two years ago due to lack of Council Funding. Four main objectives of the project were:

1. To refurbish an adventure playground to its former glory,
2. To ensure all facilities meet with current health and safety standards
3. To link activities within the equal play centre to those outside the building, and
4. To re-establish an open space that challenges, stimulates and meets the needs of young people with fiffering physical disabilities and abilities.
